Be Sure Your Information is Correct!

This is the last week to make sure the Chamber has your correct information before we print the 2008 membership directory. Linda has been making calls to all of our current members (and checking when you come into the office) to correct your information. We know there have been several company and personnel changes since you first joined the Chamber.

Many of you members and non-members are about to get a visit from the Chamber’s newest staff member. Kristal Hodges spent last week getting information gathered to call on current and past members of the chamber.

In March, we had five new members and one that rejoined.

Your next opportunity to network with your fellow members will be our monthly Luncheon that will be held at Cherokee Yacht Club on April 24 at 11:30 AM. We will have another good informational program for you to help you run your business. We are now taking reservation for these lunches to help us plan with our food provider how many meals to prepare. We want to have enough food and do not want them to have lots of left over food. The ten dollar cost to you all goes to the establishment and is a bargain for what we are served, as this includes the cost of service staff and facility. If your business would like to featured at this luncheon call the office now and for a $100 investment in the chamber you can bring material and have an extended time to present features of the business.

On that same day we will have our first Business After Hours. It will be held at the Potting Shed located behind the Artichoke Restaurant. The time is right for planting and the Green house is filling up with flowers, vegetable and herbs. The Artichoke will provide some fun food and a Cash Bar will be available. We will have a drawing for some door prizes donated from some of our members. If you would like to offer something for this drawing bring it by the chamber or bring it with you. The times are 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Come join the fun!!
