The Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has
been busy planning the upcoming Welcome Back Weekend – Casino Night. The
special event is planned for March 1st at Cherokee Yacht Club.
While the chamber has been preparing for
Casino Night, personnel at Cherokee Yacht Club have been getting ready for
the Welcome Back Weekend Poker Run scheduled for the afternoon of
Saturday, March 1st. All of the activities are open to the public.
Casino Night Committee Chair, Tiffany
McKibben (McKibben & Company Realty), announces a few changes to
the upcoming event. “The committee has been making plans for upgraded
auction items, as well as creating a High Roller Room where event goers
have the chance to compete for prize money,” said McKibben. “And of
course, the all-time favorite games of black jack, roulette and craps and
a silent and live auction will be a part of the fun evening.”
Casino Night is a great event to attend to
get over cabin fever. Over one hundred items donated by area merchants
will be on the auction block for the evening. Everything from vacation
trips to gift certificates will go to the highest bidders.
So, don’t forget to put the evening on your
calendar schedule. Oh, and don’t forget to bring your checkbooks and
credit cards.
